About Dr. Gail Derin

Dr. Gail DerinDr. Gail Derin has been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine over 40 years. She is nationally certified (NCCAOM) since 1984 in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. In 1986, she was licensed as an Acupuncturist in California and received her Doctorate in Oriental Medicine in 1988. She is certified by the AOBTA in Tui Na and bodywork.
Dr. Gail graduated from the the Hahnemann College of Homeopathic Medicine, Albany, California in 1993. She has done extensive work with Vietnam Veterans for Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). The name of her thesis is The Remedies of War.
Dr. Gail studied in 1986 with John Upledger, D.O., the founder of the Upledger Institute,  and has completed courses in CST I, II, SER I, II, and Advanced CST I, II.
She studied with Jean-Pierre Barall, D.O. and has completed Visceral Manipulation I, II, Advanced VM and has taken courses in Muscle Energy techniques.
Gail practices Structural Integration, the alignment of bones, through muscles, and soft tissue.

She facilitates optimal wellness and balance in one’s body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Gail co-authored the book, Help and Homeopathy, What to do before 911 Arrives.
